ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The conference on “Viksit Bharat: Innovative Businesses, Agriculture, Technology and Resource Management for Sustainable Growth” is designed to drive sustainable development across various sectors. It aims to ensure inclusive economic growth that benefits all sections of society, emphasizing technological advancements to foster sector-wide development and innovation. The initiative focuses on creating employment opportunities, promoting entrepreneurship and developing world-class infrastructure to support sustainable growth and improve living standards. The conference will explore synergies between business, agriculture, technology and resources management by adopting a multidisciplinary approach to create a holistic vision for India’s future.

 

It aims to inspire youth participation, disseminate knowledge, foster collaborations and chart a vision aligned with Viksit Bharat 2047, a future characterized by inclusive growth, technological innovations, economic reforms, job opportunities and resilient infrastructure. Interactive sessions on innovative businesses will deliberate on disruptive business models, entrepreneurship and sustainable management practices, exploring how businesses can drive economic growth while minimizing the hazardous environmental impact. In the agriculture and rural economy sector, subject experts will deliberate on various inter-related issues of efficient and effective resource management that includes smart agriculture, organic farming, food security, supply chain management, technological innovations, renewable energy, waste management, carbon footprint reduction, IoT and big data digital transformation for sustainability, and many other related issues.

This conference will have a special session for paper presentation by graduate and post-graduate students, with opportunity for receiving ORSI-best student research paper awards.

Original research papers (on any of the above sub-themes) are invited from graduate and post-graduate students (written independently by a student or a group of students, without co-authorship of teachers or research scholars). Best two presentations will receive ‘ORSI-best Student Research Paper Awards of Rs.5000 each.

We encourage academic contributions that align with the broad conference theme and sub-themes. There is opportunity for best research paper award, across all themes.
